Frequently asked questions.

Never had a massage before? Here’s what to know.

All massage sessions begin with a consultation where you’ll be asked information about your health history, areas of concern, and preferences regarding pressure and technique.

Sessions takes place in a quiet, comfortable environment, where the client is provided with a clean, private space to undress to their comfort level. For Swedish and Deep Tissue massage most clients undress completely, but undergarments can be left on if the client prefers. You will be fully covered the entire session, the only area exposed will be the areas directly being worked on. Massage oil is applied for Swedish and Deep Tissue sessions. If you prefer to remained fully dressed or have an aversion to oils, ask about a Shiatsu massage!

Throughout the massage, communication is key. Clients are encouraged to share their comfort levels and any adjustments needed. The session usually lasts between 30 minutes to two hours.

Please shower before your session. Please avoid alcohol before a massage; it reduces effectiveness and poses health risks. Alcohol can cause dehydration, making muscles stiff and hindering relaxation. It also affects coordination and judgment, increasing discomfort or injury risks. Additionally, it hampers toxin processing, straining the liver. If you come to your session after consuming drugs or alcohol the massage will have to be cancelled or rescheduled.

Do you do home visits?

For personal safety, in-home massage is not offered before establishing a relationship beforehand. If you are interested in massage at your residence, please first book an in-studio massage or reach out through email or DM to schedule a consultation.

Home visits will have an additional fee depending on mileage.
